Shopify App Development

We build Shopify apps, both private apps for a single merchant and public apps for the App Store, using the Shopify CLI, Polaris and the Admin GraphQL API.

Public apps are built to pass review the first time: OAuth done properly, mandatory GDPR webhooks implemented, billing through the Shopify Billing API, and App Bridge embedded so the app looks like part of the admin rather than a bolted on iframe.

If your app processes merchant data at volume, we design the webhook and bulk operation flow up front, because rate limits are the thing that breaks Shopify apps in production and they are painful to retrofit once you have merchants installed.

Private if it solves your own operational problem. Public if you intend to sell it. The engineering differs a lot, especially around billing and review, so it is worth deciding before we start.
We build to the review requirements from the start. Rejections still happen, usually over listing details rather than code, and we handle the resubmission.
Your choice. Shopify deprecates API versions on a schedule, so an app needs periodic maintenance. We will tell you what that costs before you decide who does it.
Yes. The repository is yours, the Partner listing is in your account, and the billing flows to you. We do not hold any part of it as leverage.
